5 GOALS… Marcus Tavares, Alison Brito (both F.C Porto), Lau Ting Sun (Pau Peng), Leong Ka Hang, Loi Wai Hong (both Macau Development), Zheng Rui (Lam Pak), William Gomes, Cheng Ka Wai (both Monte Carlo)

Hoi Fan’s Lee Keng Pan had a fantastic season, despite his team leaking many goals in the wrong end, he managed to notch a goal a game to make sure his team maintained their top division status. Lam Paks Mainland Chinese star, Yuan Junhui did his reputation no harm at all by firing 7 goals this season, including a double in Lam Paks 3-2 loss against F.C Porto and a well taken hatrick against Kuan Tai in a 4-2 victory that he made more comfortable than it could have been.

On 6 goals, Kuan Tai’s Fatai Solabi did all he could to help Kuan Tai stay in the top flight, but it wasnt enough. For all his efforts, Kuan Tai were relegated with a game to spare. Joinning him on six, Ka I duo, Chen Qian and Macanese forward Chan Kin Seng, who added a further two goals to his 6 domestic league goals in the MFA Cup Final against Lam Pak.

8 players notched 5 league goals this season. Alison Brito and Marcus Tavares both did their part to help F.C Porto reach an unexpected 2nd placed finish. Lam Pak’s Zheng Rui also found the net 5 times for his team, helping them to 3rd. Brazilian loanee, William Gomes and local striker Cheng Ka Wai both had solid seasons for Monte Carlo. Gomes fired a stunning hatrick against Windsor Arch Ka I in a 3-3 draw, while Cheng hit four against Hoi Fan, with 3 inside the openning 25mins. Elsewhere, Leong Ka Heng and Loi Wai Hong found the net on a regular basis for the Macau U23 team, Leong also managing four on match day 2 against Va Luen. Pau Peng’s Lau Ting Sun also hit a fistful of goals as his side settled for midtable.
